Heroes: Batman, Robin I, and Batgirl I
Villains: Killer Croc, Catwoman
“Look, David…I don’t understand what the problem is out in Gotham City…They have a living crime fighter who evades cops and is hardly seen on camera. As far as I’m concerned, he’s probably Big Foot!” –The talk show audience laughed as David Letterman did as well.- “So what do you think about the legitimate people out there? The Joker, Two-Face, The Riddler…These are all crazy people who are *very* real...” “Lock ‘em up and put them in the –BEEP-in’ jail house. Not like they have freaks growing three metal claws from their hands…” -A deep thud echoed through the cavern as it sunk through the water. The television screen was blue, scratchy and unclear.- “Papa’s home…” –A thick voice called out, stepping out of the water and onto the cement.- “Did you miss me?” –His voice spoke holding a gnarled grin as he approached a little girl wearing a pink dress filthy with mud.- Her eyes red and her face covered in snot from sobbing.- “I want…mommy.” –The man’s yellow eyes lit up, opening wide as the iris opened into a large void.- “Mommy?!” –The girl nodded. The man placed down to police officers dead bodies and then came to the girl.- “I’ll take you to mommy.” –He opened the cage and extended a gray hand, the little girl felt the flaky surface and immediately made her want to stay in the cage, and his grip gave her no choice as his strength was as powerful as her father. He reminded her of her father, the reason she ran away at the young age of 7. Now she wished her father was here, both mean people could beat each other up and leave her alone. She was pulled towards a metal grate on the floor. The guest on TV spoke.- “…Imagine if there was a guy who became unstoppable as he got more angry. Don’t you know who I am? I’m the Unstoppable –Beep-! “ -The gray hand lifted the grate and dropped the girl into a pool of water. She began crying.- “I want mommy!! Annnn!” –The man snarled at her.- “Too bad! Mommy ain’t going to save ya!” –It was then the girl was pulled under water, blood immediately began to flow within it. The water mixed with dirt, filth, and trash began mixing into a green and red color. The invisible predator within had feasted and soon he would too. Turning to the dead cops his yellow eyes suddenly shifted, large opals began thin strikes of a single cat-like eye blocking out surrounding light to focus on his meal.-
-Meanwhile, elsewhere…Harvey Bullock sat eating a pretzel.- “You know, First we got Batman, Robin, Deathstroke, Catwoman…Now we got a Batgirl...You think these kids would be a link to the man, allowing his daughter to be out here fighting crime against nut cases like the Joker.” –Montoya rolled her eyes.- “Because women are just so helpless, right Harv?” –The police scanner would beep.- “We have an officer down at 17th street and Maple, calling in back up!” –At the scene, Gangsters ran down an alley firing sub machineguns at the single police car, tearing the vehicle a part as the bleeding officer was held by the sole remaining officer.- “Oh god…hang in there!” –The gangsters began closing distance when- A whistle through air slashed through air, a metal device suddenly clipped onto one of the guns.- “BEEP.” –And the device exploded throwing a single gangster backwards. The darkness of the alley caused the thugs to look around while stumbling on various objects.- “Grab the shit and go!” “Fuck we’re going to die.” –One man called out, when a dark voice spoke in response with a grin.- “No. But you’ll wish you were!” –Batman tackled the thug and slammed his body into a brick wall, a punch delivered to the man’s stomach caused him to gag and choke before dropping to his knees. Batman’s body spun in a circle slashing his cape across another thugs gun as the dark knight’s plated elbow smashed into the thugs cheek crushing the man’s cheek bone as titanium met flesh and bone.-
Catwoman: The flash of each bullet leaving the sub-machine gun reflected in her goggles as she crouched on the rooftop, the sound of metal giving way to each bullet echoing up to her. It was a rare night that Catwoman decided to tail the Dark Knight but some interesting new had caught her attention and she wanted to see the new “Batgirl” for herself. Her claws dug into the side of the ledge she was perched on, helping her keep her balance as her night vision clearly allowed to see what was happening. “Always has to make an entrance.” A smirk twisted her full red painted lips as she watched the small explosion, the bright flash of light causing her pupils to shrink in the pool of green. Reaching up she twisted her goggles back on top of her head then scanned the rooftops briefly. No sign of the girl yet. Turning her gaze back to the action below her muscles relaxed as she slipped down on the ledge to sitting, crossing one long leg over the other at the knee, legs hanging over the side of the roof and simply observed the seemingly hulking figure below as he did what he does best. “Mm…I do love to watch that man work.” Catwoman commented idly as she waited.
Dick Grayson: Trailing behind the Dark Knight was his partner in crime fighting; the Boy Wonder, donned in his red, green and yellows. Crouching down beside the first fallen thug, Robin held an arm behind his back and cuffed it, then did the same with the second. With Batman in the lead there was not much left for the Boy Wonder to do but leave them gift wrapped for the GCPD, a habit that he had started to grow annoyed with. “Normally I wouldn’t say anything, but don’t we have bigger fish to fry?” Though that wasn’t exactly true, as of late, Robin had been criticizing Batman more often, if not verbally then he did it within his own mind.
The Oracle: If there was two, then there was always more to come. Who would be a fool to go alone with one other person? No one, obviously. More thugs came their way after hearing the two getting beat down and captured by the two males within the area. One thug had a walkie talkie on them that they accidently landed on and pressed a button. The beeping noise that came from the device would be louder if one of the thugs weren't trying to yell over the two males that were consulting with each other; this signaled more- two, maybe three more of them running out from the closest building they were in and ran to where the other two where last. Walking around a corner to find the two on the ground and the two males there. "What the?!" One says, followed by "Shoot 'em!" from the other. With no hesitation, one pulled out a gun and aimed but before they could pull the trigger, a swishing sound came out of nowhere and connected with the thug's hand to nick him, thus making him drop the gun and hold his hand. “Ah! What was that?” The object flew past the second thug, slicing a piece of fabric of their coat and then sticking in to the side of the nearest trash can. The two thugs deeply confused, looking at each other and looking at the two males; they didn’t do it, then who did? Standing at edge of a roof-top, a young looking female probably in her early teens would be standing tall in a powerful stance; her hands on her hips and her green-blue eyes glaring down at the two thugs; she was dressed in a simple black and yellow suit with whole cowl with the pointed ears, cape and such, much resembled the older male’s but much more simpler style wise; also feminine features. Peakingfrom the back of her cowl was her long, red hair that flowed to her movements. The corners of her lips curled back in to a playful grin. Taking a step back from the ledge, she quickly ran forward to jump off, performing a front flip in mid-air; her black and yellow cape flailing in the air. Her frame then dropping down, feet first to stick to her landing upon the ground in front of the two males; she stood up right and moved her head to the side as well as her form to dodge a fist from connecting with her face. “I don’t think so.” Bringing her gloved hands up, she took the thug’s arm in a tight grasp to maintain balance, and swung her leg up in a kick that would make a sudden impact on the thug’s gut causing him to bend over. The other thug trying to get a hold of her as she makes her way behind the one she held captive by an arm and bent it behind his back, using his back a platform to side roll over and landing on the other side. As she landed on the other side, she pushed the two thugs against each other away from her, making them trip over a crack in the ground and falling; the two thugs knocking their heads together, which knocks them out just for enough time to cuff them. Standing up right, she dusted herself off like it was nothing.
-Batman could hear the clicking of handcuffs, counting the exact amount of time between each in synchronized pattern with each body Batman dropped. When Robin spoke, Batman turned to look at him to explain.- “Would you leave those two officers lives to chance? Back up *may* save them or it *may* not.” -The gangsters were still surrounding them; two men were not enough to pin down a two man patrol unit. At roughly seven or eight men began searching around for Batman, they discovered wings of vengeance and justice were multiplying..- “They’re everywhere!” –One man shouted running down the alleyway in a full sprint that he dropped his gun hoping that his “harmless” state would render him invaluable. Batman ducked underneath a punch thrown at his head before commanding Robin.- “Go after him.” -Robin would nod and without much delay he kicked off the wall nearby to front flip down the alleyway raising his arms and elbows to his shoulder level while dashing into the light of the cities dimly lit streets. Batman’s skull bashed into the thug’s chin throwing him backwards, while others were struggling with batgirl. A few bullets were shot off and reflected off Batman’s armor, much to the surprise of the group of thugs. Batman’s strategy required stealth, however; with the kids trailing him he would have to be the point man, the distraction that the criminals focused on, giving the kids valuable time to strike. Particularly Batgirl who was new to working with Batman and Robin.-
Catwoman: With her eyes trained on Batman, Catwoman bounced a foot up and down lightly as annoyance started to get the best of her with waiting. Movement behind the Dark Knight caught her attention and she leaned over slightly her eyes settling down on the Boy Wonder. “There’s the little bird.” He wasn’t looking quite as little anymore and in the way he moved she could sense attitude even from the rooftop. His voice carried up to her and a curious brow rose and then something else caught her attention all together; a flash of red hair and the sound of an object being thrown. Those green eyes trailed over the form of the young Batgirl, taking in her height and her apparent age and clearly Selina was not impressed. “That little ginger is what all of the fuss is about?” As the Batgirl jumped from the roof, Catwoman stood up, stretching her arms above her head. It really was a Bat girl. Her heels clicked lightly along the roofs dangerous cement ledge as she walked along it, following the movements of the young girl. “Childish and sloppy. Leave it to him to pick yet another plucky sidekick.” She had nothing against Grayson, and everything against Batman for allowing children to do the job that he did. Her stride didn’t pause as a bullet reflecting off of Batman’s armor below hit the ledge right under her feet and she kept moving until she reached the corner of the building. Robin had split off and she watched him until the building obstructed him from view then set a hand on her hip, claws sliding against the leather whip that rested there as she turned her complete attention back to Batgirl.
