Description
Appearance: Pamela sticks to her very "earthy" colors, hues of green, gold, and red mostly. She prefers to allow most of her skin to breathe, feeling that she is better connected the Earth by not covering up herself. Usually, she wears very little, wrapping her body in a matter of vines and leaves as she pleases, most always with a green corset and leotard to her form or a bikini and allowing the rest of her to be sheathed in her vines. Pamela does where common clothes at other times, these following the same color theme, tank tops usually cut off at the midriff and slender shorts.
Personality: Easy to temper on certain subjects, Pamela is a bit of a hot head. She is extremely caring of her plants and Mother Earth, finding them far better company over most humans whom, to her, destroy the planet with every step. She is extremely mischievious and always mindful of ways to get back at humanity for its destruction of the Earth. Vengeful and furious, she holds quite a thick set of consequences for those that cross her, which, being as tender to anger as she is, isn't the best for those who do tempt her anger. Ivy does have a more open side with the right people, namely Harley Quinn, someone who tends to bring out the best in her.

"I did it! I did it!" Pamela came bursting through the double doors of the lab and bounding over to Dr. Jason Woodrue. The slightly older man, bent to a microscope inspecting the finer details of a leaf they'd found attaching itself to other plants in order to overrun them, turned and lowered the thing rims from his nose and let them rest on his collar bone. Woodrue had been working with Pamela Isley for the better part of the last four years. He was a studied man, older and in his late forties standing just a few inches taller than she did at five foot eight. He and Isley had both signed contracts to receive grants and research the more rare and exotic plants of the South American rainforests to produce better data in the newer century. So far, they had adventured all though South American and experiance more than either had ever dreamed and send back better data than the more notable botanical studies had in the past.
Pamela held, in her jittery hands, a framed certificate against her to show him. It was from the Department of Earthly Studies, and it was awarded to Dr. Pamela Lillian Isley for her profitable findings in the South American region. An award that was handed out every five years and chosen very carefully to its recipient. To be awarded was a mark of high achievement and dedication in the field with rewarding results. It was one of the certificates and mark of notoriety that every Botanist dreamed of, and she'd finally received it.
Her face was lit up with flares of red blush as she beamed at him, her green eyes alight and sparkling proudly. She was practically bouncing in her flats on the pale blue tile of the lab. Jason, however, felt a pang of jealousy that sent his gut to wrench and his eyes to harden before he plastered a warm smile and looked down the bridge of his nose to inspect the award. It was the very award he had dreamed of since he had first gotten into college back in his twenties, what he'd chased after for twenty some years of study and research. The money and time and education put into himself and his career all aiming to be awarded and noticed for it, yet it landed to a young, 26 year-old woman with better looks than any woman he'd ever dated. She, who had not spent nearly half as many years or time as he had doing the work or paying into research. This spit of a young woman who couldn't have imagined how hard he tried to impress the Scholars at his college or the other botanists in his field. He, who had struggled all his life into this place where he thought for sure he would have that award, and it had landed to her. This little mouse of a woman that couldn't even stop herself from apologizing if someone else bumped into her.
Pamela's bright face slowly faltered, waning into a frown of confusion as she watched the blue eyes of her colleague freeze over as his jaw trembled. His hands slid to her upper arms and held on, his fingers tightening harder and harder, biting into her skin painfully. Finally, she hissed and tried to pull away. "Dr. Woodrue?"when he didn't answer and only held on tighter, she panicked, pulling back with all her weight to get out of his grip. "Dr. Woodrue, please! You're hurting me!"
Jason's hands let go suddenly and let her tumbled back, falling to the floor hard and dropping her precious award. The frame cracked on the tile and when it fell forward, the glass shattered into a million transclucent shards. She gasped at the ruined reward and gaped up at him just in time to see him swipe and angry arm over the lab counter, tossing all the instruments to the floor with a loud crash. The beakers shattered, their contents spilling out all over the place, splashing up onto Pamela's skin. Some of the toxin's burned like acid, causing her to cry out in pain as it sizzled on her skin. As she cried out, he made is way around the lab, throwing beakers and thrashing microscopes to pieces. he tore down the posters and the bulletin board of their pictures together in the rainforest. He threw all the potted plants to the tile, spilling dirt and pottery. He tore open the refridgerator where some of the chemicals and toxins stored up from the rare spiders, plants, and all matters of life in the rainforest were kept. He took out the vials and containers, opening them up and throwing the contents all over her. Pamela lay on the floor in her lab coat, crying and begging for him to stop, the fear in her pale green eyes lighting in him a final furious stand as he grabbed the Bunsen Burner and dropped it on Isley, watching the chemicals react with one another and flare up in a hot lick of flames as she cried out. He turned and left out the back emergency door and waited against the brick wall, until her cries were silenced and all he heard was the crackling of the fire. He would call for help and say it was an accident, and finally Pamela Isley would never again get in the way of his hard work and dedication.
He would never know that his single, irrational act of jealousy would create the villainess that is Poison Ivy.
