Background story
Adam's life was that of a typical police officer and later advanced into SWAT before retiring to become a private contractor for security administrations. Jensen's primary take off would be at Sarif Industries, a rising star of private sector implementation of cybernetic enhancements and augmentation of human beings. Jensen would be hired by David Sarif based on the recommendation of his top Scientist and Jensen's ex-girlfriend, Megan Reed. Megan is the lead scientist in Cybernetic research and compatibility with human genetics, with her breakthrough in research she attracts a terrorist organization and the attention of Government entities. When Megan is kidnapped by an unknown party, Jensen is mortally wounded and almost killed trying to rescue Megan from terrorists. It is by luck that Sarif industries top sciences who worked with Megan were able to save Jensen's life by surgically enhancing him to become an Augment.
Disgusted and angered by the decision, Jensen quickly accepts being an augment for one purpose alone; saving Megan from her captors. Jensen begins an amazing journey to uncover the conspiracy that would give cause for anyone to question the motives of the Government, the people in control of that government, the free market system, and the meaning of "Freedom." Adam eventually thwarts an impending crisis of Human Augments attempting mass genocide against all living creatures and exposes the father of Augmentation technology Hugh Darrow as the conspirator attempting to prove to society the dangers of using Cybernetic implants in people. Darrow argued with Jensen that people were willing to give up freedom in order to make themselves "better", stating that they deserved death for chasing cosmetics than improving the quality of person they could be.
Jensen manages to confront Darrow recognizing that his motives are just and understandable, but his method is chaotic and would kill billions. By this time, Darrow explains that he is helpless to stop the virus from forcing Augmented humans from aggressive behavior and that the only way to stop it would be to gain control over the virus' transmitting device. Jensen is given the coordinates of the device and sets out to shut it down after battling its defense systems, Jensen shuts down the device and exposes the whole operation and scandal, people become more reluctant to use Augment technology and begin shying away from its utility.
Description
Appearance: Jensen typically wears a black trench coat and black sleeveless T-shirt underneath. His arms and legs are cybernetic with black muscle tissue designs on the exterior. His hands appeared like human bone made out of pure metal. His eyes have sockets surrounding their exterior which allow folding sunglasses to conceal his dark brown eyes. His dark brown hair is typically groomed back with a slicked comb back appearance and a Mohawk like spike converging on the top and center of his head. He has a brown beard and goatee growing on his face that is perfectly groomed.
Personality: Jensen's personality is one of three changing and optional courses of action.
Aggression / Intimidation / Offensive - This personality option can be forceful and often characterized as the "executive" side of Jensen. Sometimes when a criminal or person gives vague information, it requires an aggressive response to force someone into intimidation.
Logic / Reason / Sarcastic - This response tries to explain the repercussions of someones actions or the logical fallacy in someones argument or position on doing something. Some criminals aren't bad people, they're just a good person doing the wrong thing because they are misguided and need help coming back to society.
Empathy / Compassion / Polite - A personality that will build common ground with his subjects, acknowledging that he understands the persons situation and sympathizes with them as a method of redirecting their course of action into a positive outcome. This personality is an effective means of forming allies and friendships as Jensen can well articulate and form a common ground with those he engages with.

Megan Reed - Love interest, Ex girlfriend. In the Deus Ex series, Megan is kidnapped for her breakthrough in neuroscience and is apart of a global conspiracy. Adam travels the world risking life and limb in order to retrieve her from the custody of her kidnappers. He feels that his only reason for living is to protect her even if they aren't romantically involved anymore.
Faridah Malik - Co-worker and best friend throughout his days working as a police officer, SWAT, and security manager at Sarif Industries.
Bruce Wayne / Oracle II - Associate, employer, information contact. Batman (Bruce Wayne) had met Officer Jensen in Hong Kong where the two worked together. Both of them share a common belief in pacifist means of defusing a situation, it would be years later that Bruce Wayne used this connection to help uncover a case with the help of Batman.

Cloaking - "Glass Shield" cloaking system allows the user to turn invisible for a period of time.
Underwater breathing - Enhanced cybernetic implants in the chest permit the user to breathe underwater without hindrance.

Typhoon Explosive system - Creates an explosion surrounding the unit incapacitating or destroying surrounding material.
Battery Recharge - To function as a Normal human being requires no battery power, however; to use some of the enhanced features of his implants cause strain on battery power and weakens the user from full utilization of his capabilities.

A picture frame, classic design of wooden frame etched in copper to appear like flowers sat lonely upon a wooden desk. A black mechanical hand reached out to clip onto the copper siding and lift it closer to his face, as if the distance made the memory closer and more welcoming. A blonde woman wearing a white lab coat smiling towards him brought some comfort to him. Dark brown eyes and implanted green retinal optics began twirling and adjusting to take in and process the image in front of him. Adam's gaze locked with Megan Reed's picture, a woman he had deeply loved. His thumb brushed against the clear glass frame before his left hand lifted a glass container with synthetic alcohol inside it. He gulped down the drink and kept his emotions warm. The sense of loneliness, to feel her touch or her warm embrace gave him a feeling of purpose a reason to live.
His gaze shifted to the surrounding apartment room with black containers stacked on top of other black containers. There was no rug, nothing on the walls. Only a couch with a single visual screen placed on a glass table in front of it, meant for watching television. Jensen placed the picture frame back onto the desk before standing up. "I need to go to work..." Jensen reached behind his chair to grab his black trench coat, lifting it over his body, his arms melted into the sleeves allowing it to slide around his cybernetic arm implants, muscular in design and shape would fill the trench coat perfectly before adjusting the collar of the coat and then proceeding to work. Jensen road the express path to Wayne Enterprises, landing his 2040 Hover Inception that would land inside the garage.
Stepping out of the hover craft he would be paused as a man spoke to him. "Don't move, or I shoot!" Immediately optic visual display tracked information 'One man' it would inform him as the voice came closer '10m...9m...8m...' Jensen held his hands up. Vocal pathways activating,

Jensen's processors made the decision with split second timing.

Surely there is something you can do for a living other than holding up strangers in the parking lot for money. I don't know what your reasons are for doing this, but let me help you. But first you have got to trust me. I could have taken you down at any moment now, but I'm giving you the opportunity to do the right thing."
The man paused and then sighed slowly lowering the gun. Jensen would place his hands onto his hips. "Now, care to explain?" "I have an addiction man...I want...I need...No, you wouldn't understand!" the man began lifting the gun. Jensen wouldn't move. "No, Believe me I understand completely. Addiction can't easily be kicked to the curb. But you have to make the decision do you want to spent your life hurting others, including the ones you love to support your vice that will eventually kill you. You don't want to go down that road, pal." The man began to plead, his voice echoing. "What am I supposed to do? you don't know a god damn!" Jensen swiftly punched the man's hand throwing his gun onto the ground the concussive force nearly thrown the man into a spin but, Jensen grabbed onto the man's shirt and twisted the man away from the gun slamming him into the hover car.
"Listen to me, you're going to turn your life around. And Mister Wayne is going to help you. You got that?" "What's going on there?" A security patrol arrived with four troopers that surrounded Jensen and the man. "Gentlemen, I want you to meet a new friend. Please take him inside and get him a glass of iced tea." Jensen ushered the man towards the security and then turned to pick the gun up off the ground. He watched as the security lead the man away. Jensen walked to follow while speaking out loud. "How long were you watching?" "Long enough...Clean work, I ran his profile. There's an opening in marketing for him. " An elderly man responded with a deep voice. Jensen nodded to himself. "I ran his profile, my database found that he has community service and was laid off from his last job, collecting unemployment for the past 5 months...something made him snap." "Good observation...We'll take care of him." Jensen wasn't the kind of man to smile, but the emotion of relief and content filled his circuits forcing an optional response.
