Description
Appearance: Harley dresses in the typical full piece harlequin suit with red and black color blocks. Her face is powdered white and she wears a mask and a fool's hood.
Personality: She is extroverted, excitable, and flirtatious. Because she is mentally unstable, she will harm and kill without a guilty conscience. In fact, because her criminal mentality begins because of love-madness, her actions are, in her mind, noble and declarations of love.
Significant relationships
(The Joker) - Her on again/off again boyfriend though the title is often one-sided. She became instantly attracted to The Joker when she interned at Arkham Asylum. She volunteered to work with him once she completed her doctorate. Her dissertation was on the madness of love, in truth, she was writing about her affections for The Joker. He used her several times to free him from the institution. When he was reinstated, and thoroughly beaten by Batman, she vows to always be by his side to protect him.
Poison Ivy - When Harley attempts to steal from Two-Face and The Riddler, they tie her up and lock her in a broom closet. Poison Ivy finds her and they become fast friends. Harley is immune to poisons and toxins because of Poison Ivy.
Catwoman - Catwoman rounds out the three femme fatales. When Harley breaks up with The Joker, she joins Catwoman and Poison Ivy, the three women became a crime trio and steal for pleasure and gain. Eventually, the group dismantles because of betrayal. Everyone had their own agenda.
Vehicles
She owns a motorcycle but is often seen flipping onto the scene.
Audition post
"You are a star surrounded by inconsequential fire flies." Harley looked at the words she penned carefully on paper. He never read her love letters; she wrote the words regardless.
The only times he even noticed her presence was when she went out of her way to annoy him with affection, or when he told her to take care of business. Because she loved him, she loved when he came to her for help. She was certain that it meant he loved too because she knew he could handle poisoning a school bus full of children on his own. But he askedher. Her.
That was love, when you can ask for help. She strived to be her best for him. Dependable. Harley knew that, at any moment, she could be called into action. She'd certainly prefer to kiss him, but killing for him was equally thrilling. This was true love. If only she could get him to see.
Harley sighed a lover's sigh, yearning and somewhat forlorn, as she turned toward the bus driver. "You get it, don't you?" She asked the exaggerated smiling face. The man had been chuckling to himself for the past ten minutes in chorus with the children and bus monitor behind her.
"Probably not. You look married, are ya married?" Harley tugs at the man's left hand and he begins to cackle and leads the others to follow suit. She notes a ring and smiles wistfully. "Wedded bliss. Well, you do look happy."
