Oracle, former Batgirl I, and Barbara Gordon, was typing quickly onto her computer. She was looking at national servers for anything suspicious or a hacker of her own that would get into the accounts illegally. Staring at the computer screen, her blue eyes were searching every bit of the screen for anything foreign. The IP addresses all seemed to have come from Gotham Docks, but there was something going on tonight that would be a big heist. Of course it would be from the feline that wanted most beautiful jewel in the world: Catwoman. Barbara--Rather, Oracle, looked over at the monitors to see the cameras. Nothing was there and when she turned, immediately a feline ran across the screen.
"Everything is clea--" Her voice was cut off when her computer registered movement. Looking over, Oracle's eyes brightened up with the sight of a cat running across the screen and hiding in a box. "Negative."
"10-4." Replied the voice on the other end. It was none other than her father. Staring at the sight before her, Oracle then heard a beep from her computer. Looking over at another monitor, she frowned slightly, then a smirk replaced it.
"Oh, I see your game Catwoman, you want to distract me while this hacker tries to get me." She chuckled, knowing that it wouldn't be successful.
"Double negative. Everything is alright." With that, Oracle looked at a certain keyboard while the hacker himself was trying to get through the firewalls. Reaching over, she pushed down the key, talking into her microphone.
"Batman. Catwoman. Gotham Docks. Don't flirt too much, police will be on their way soon." Her voice was filled with a grin of its own, but after pushing the key once again, Oracle went straight to the hacker. He had gotten through one firewall, but that's all he was going to get through.
"Oh no you don't." She smirked, quickly typing in keys and phrases that only a computer would understand. Staring at it, she gave a small chuckle, thinking about all the hack codes and viruses she could send to her 'guest.' Staring at her computer, she frowned slightly as she was attacked from all angles. Not being able to look at the monitors for Batman or anyone else, she reached over and press the police signal.
"Triple negative. Catwoman is on the Gotham Docks." She kept clicking and looking at the screen, barely giving Catwoman any attention. She didn't even know Batman was already there. Trying to type faster, Oracle bit down on her bottom lip. While typing faster, she could feel a bead of sweat. It was getting close, very close. The hacker was about to get her, but Oracle herself was about to get him. She kept typing, one more button and--Bam! Her computer system beeped and she raised her hands up in the air.
"Yes!" Oracle screamed, not hearing her father talk on the other line.
"I won!" She happily danced in her wheel chair, knowing that she would be dancing if her legs were fully capable. Looking over at the other screen, she saw Batman cuffing Catwoman. "Another great day, thanks to the Oracle." She smirked, leaning back on her arms and chair. "Phew."
