"I should have called a taxi," Greggory retorted as his fingers coiled securely around the handle of his briefcase. The moon, hanging high in sky, was looking down upon him with a radiant gleam. His eyes were casting in every direction as he took another turn into a darkened alley. His footsteps echoed around him, and a 'splash' was heard upon him stepping into a puddle. He gazed down, shaking off the dirt that had soiled his brand new suit. "Damn it, this cost me a fortune!" he spat. A giggle was heard around him. Greggory turned in every direction as he trembled in fear.
"That won't matter much longer," a woman hissed out. This said lady fell from an overhanging pipe head first. Her legs, strong and forceful, wrapped around his neck as her wrist shot through the handle of the suitcase. While clenching her thighs around the man's neck, the assassin used the momentum of her fall and tossed the business to the side like a rag doll. She twisted her body with the palm of her hands before elogantly placing the heels of her feet on the pavement. She hunched her body over in the form of a predator as she lifted the briefcase to her nose and took a strong wiff. The man, on his stomach in pain, gazed with widened out.
"No - wait! Please leave that alone!" he gasped out.
"It seems as though you have been holding out on Mr. Luther," she responded, followed by a hiss. Her forked tongue sent shivers down the man's spine.
"Please...tell Le - Mr. Luthor that it was for precautionary reasons...I was going to send him the paperwork Monday morning!" he pleaded, scooting back against the back of the alleyway wall. The contortionist lifted her gaze, her yellow, snake-like eyes meeting his.
"I'm afraid I'm not here to make any deals," she stated, tossing the briefcase to the side as she crawled forward towards the male. Before he could scream out, she sprinted forward and lifted him off the wall and onto his feet. Slithering across his body, she altered the weight of her body so that she landed behind him. With a turn of her torso and a spin of her wrists, the assassin snapped his neck. His lifeless body fell to the ground. She chuckled and strided over to the briefcase. "El puerco," she spat to the dead body before disappeared into the darkness.

The woman slammed the briefcase onto the desk. Lex Luthor sat back onto his chair as his fingers entertwined together in a pleasing manner. She opened the briefcase and spun it around; the missing paperwork laying right before him.
"Good work," he smirked, rummaging through them.
"No more pointless missions - if you aren't willing to give me higher class job, then I can find more money somewhere else," she stated roughly, turning her body to head straight for the door. Suddenly, Luthor brought a larger suitcase onto his desk. It perked her attention, and she turned her head slightly to the side to get a glimpse of it. Luther opened it, spinning it towards her to show her a large amount of money before her.
"For every Justice League member you kill, you get one of these," he stated confidently with a serious glean within his eyes. The woman chuckled, walking towards the door.
"You've got yourself a deal, Mr. Luthor," she responded.
"I look forward to working with you, Copperhead."
