Powers and Abilities
(List as many as you need)
Power - Criminal Mastermind: The Joker like Batman is very calculated, always with a trick up his sleeve or some greater end game that goes unseen waiting in the winds. Methods he uses for achieving these goals change as often as the goals themselves allowing him to adapt the plan to nearly any eventuality.
Power - Deception: The Joker is a master of making his opponents look one way while the real threat is present somewhere else. He often times uses sleight of hand trickery and underhanded means to make sure his goals come to fruition. Often times he wraps his plans up in several different papers, like the infinite napkin gag, by the time you realize that he has no coat pocket and the handkerchiefs will just keep coming, acid is burning your eyes from your skull.
Power - Maniacal Strength: Joker, while slender in appearance, has been shown to be stronger than his size lets on. Possibly due to the violent psychotic states he enters and the effects this has on his body. Many psychologists and scientists accept the fact that people in psychotic episodes seem to garner an intense amount of strength from some unknown effect on the body. Though formidable, Joker is still no where near Batman’s level of strength.
Power - Lack of Emotion: The Joker is a classic sociopath with a narcissistic personality, the results of which prevent him from ever making actual emotional connections to things or people. This line of completely intelligent thought allows him to see extraneous details others might miss while also giving him the advantage of resisting interrogation techniques in which his captors find nothing to entice him with.
Power - Masochist: The Joker often states that he is a master of self abuse, from his own poisonous gasses to the pain he feels, he does not relate them to negative emotions therefore they have little to no psychological effect on him, rendering torture effectively useless against him.
Power - Resistant to many poisons, hallucinogens and immune to his own “Joker Gas”: The Joker is known to be immune to the poison known as Joker gas, this is explained by his own use of the product and a tolerance being built up over many years. He’s also been shown to have immunity to the Scarecrow’s fear gas. Also, due to the exposure of so many toxic chemicals that caused the transformation of his clown like face one, would assume he has a high resistance to to other poisons and drugs as well.
Weaknesses
(List as many as you need)
Weakness - Insanity: While making him hard to predict and thereby allowing him to be one of Batman’s most formidable opponents. The level of delusions Joker suffers from often take him to a place where it’s hard to focus on a discernible goal. While this does lend a hand in forcing the members of the Bat Family to have a hard time getting ahead of him, it also serves to stop from ever achieving an actual goal because his motivations change so often.
Weakness - No formal training: The Joker has never studied any form of martial arts to any degree putting him at a distinct disadvantage in direct physical confrontations with Batman and his family.
Weakness - Cocky: While highly intelligent the Joker is never able to resist taunting figures of authority into action against him, his need to defeat someone with every game he invents prevents him from carrying on his deeds in the shadows. His flair for the theatrical and loud methods of crime is also the biggest advantage the Batman has over him, if the Joker is involved, you will know and you will know early.
Weakness: Narcissism: The Joker believes that he and The Batman were born polar opposites of one another, that his entire purpose is to oppose the good that Batman does in the world. While never really underestimating his opponent, he often finds ways to taunt him into action to further support this believe. Stating many times that things will only end when one of them kills the other one. Due to this, he considers himself the most important of Batman’s enemies and often times makes trouble for himself by recklessly drawing their attention as well.

The Joker’s longest running end game is to force Batman to break his one rule and take a life thereby undermining everything Batman has done or believes in. The Joker is willing to accept his own death believing that if he pushes him past his breaking point, he will have one in the end and turned the world’s greatest vigilante’ into the world’s deadliest Joke.
Harley Quinn - Partner/Girlfriend: The Joker considers Harley one of his masterpieces, her unyielding devotion to him inspite of the constant physical and mental abuse he puts her through feeds his narcissistic desires. While she has worked to undermine him in the past she eventually crawls back to the Joker, a feat which the Joker is extremely proud of.
Jim Gordon - Nemesis: The Joker views all members of GCPD as his enemy but none so much as Commissioner Gordon, as a man that was never compromised by the department when the number of dirty officers were at it’s highest, he would consider forcing Gordon to abandon his morals in order to take him out as a satisfying victory and a nice consolation prize.

Gotham City outskirts, a small roaming carnival lies empty and silent except for the sounds of a single carousel that spun amidst the otherwise immobile fun land. The gates bore a large sign that read “Closed for Maintenance.” Three tents adorned the center of the festivities and in the center one, if one were to enter through the main flap, the somber sounds of a man weeping could be heard. As opposed to the rest of the grounds, the bleachers under the big top were filled with people, all of them pale white, with the largest grins possible plastered to their faces. “This is the saddest display I’ve ever seen!” Came the shrill voice, lined with malice and annoyance. “All these people here waiting for a show and you sit on a chair weeping?!” A lone figure stood at the top of the bleachers, his purple and green coat open and flowing behind him as he descended the spaces between the packed crowd and down to the floor.
The Joker stood before Gozo the Clown, a former member of the Barnum and Bailey college, his drinking problem and love for the ponies had kept him from going too far in the world of carnival showbiz. He found himself in a chair, his hands resting uselessly at his sides his eyes closed as he sobbed deeply, each pained wail causing the Joker’s toes to tingle, his hands to clench and release in some sort of sick ecstasy. “You’re a real waste of paint, you know that? These people came here for a show! Now, I know, the last act was a killer, but you’re never going to follow it like this!” His foot tapped the dirt ring beneath him impatiently before he looked around, and adjusted the top hat on his head. “Forgive me, ladies and gentleman!, We need a brief moment to discuss our next performance.” The words rolled off his tongue as smooth as silk as his eyes trailed over the smiling dead faces. 120 people, ages ranging from five to 60, frozen, perfect.
“Now, that we have a brief interlude, Gozo…” His steps marched toward the man as his fist clenched on his right. “The first thing you have to learn about being a performer, is eye contact. Make love to the crowd, show them that there attention is worth your time.” The man kneeled there, continuing to sob. “I SAID LOOK AT THEM!” His voice had quickly shifted from the cool and whimsy of his natural state to the anger and authority of a man in total control. The clowns eyes raised and he stared ahead. “See, isn’t that better? Our opening show already got them smiling! Now, all you need to do, is finish them off!” The glee in his voice was only a tenth of what he felt, watching this disgrace suffer, the Joker had been looking for his highest body count to date, a full show, the Ringleader, the audience, the clown troupe, acrobats and knife thrower all of them had gone from screaming such delightful terror to falling rigid with his smiles on their faces. All of them, a clean sweep, save for the waste of space before him, sleeping off a binge in his trailer. The Joker had been disappointed, so close to 121 dead.
“You ruined our hit number, Gozo, so, now you’re going to give these people the show they deserve.” A swift kick was delivered to the man’s abdomen, expelling the air from his chest and drawing a long manic laugh from the Joker’s lips. “Look at you, all that blubbering, your paint is ruined! No need to worry though, I’ve got just the remedy.” He was tingling all over, butterflies fluttered about in his stomach as his fingers curled around the scalpel in his pocket, rolling the stainless surgical steel over and over again in his palm. “I know you can’t move, that little shot I gave you doesn’t wear off for a few more hours. So, I’ll reapply, I think red will do quite nicely, now hold still, this will hurt, a lot.”
The scalpel came forward as The Joker took hold of a handful of hair and forced the clown’s head back. The first cut was pristine, sliding right over the man’s eye and to the lid before The Joker slowly began separating the tissue. Dull groans from a half paralyzed tongue was music to his ears, his toes began tapping as he hummed along with the scream and continued his slow process. The first eyelid hit the floor and he moved to the second.
His heart raced at 100 beats per second, a thundering in his chest, this much pleasure was surely enough to kill, but the Joker would live forever in the nightmares of those he affected and the study of his deviant mind. Once the man didn't have the option of closing his eyes the Joker stepped away a large white screen releases by the pull of a string before the crying clown. Blood dripped from his wounds, mixing his white face paint into the a thick shade of pink. The sound of a projector turning on and soon, the tent was filled with the screams of 120 people. “Since you missed the grand opening, I thought I’d give you an exclusive look at the video that will be arriving at Gotham Pd this afternoon. Take a good long look Gozo. See all the fun you slept through?” Children screamed, Parents cried for them, a Lion roared before a man howled in bitter agony, and all the while, a green gas filled the tent until all of them fell with their smiling faces pointed to the sky, taunting the sun. “Now, that was their show, what do you think we should do about yours?”
