Name: Floyd Lawton
Alter Ego: Deadshot
Age: 36
Birthday: 3-19-1979
Alignment: Lawful Neutral
Height: 6'0
Weight: 190
Hair: Brown
Eyes: Blue
Physique: Deadshot has a soldier's body with sniper division survival in mind. He is capable of surviving in any terrain due to the conditioning of his body meant for harsh climate and possibly weeks without proper food or water. Appearance wise he looks to be lean with muscular arms and chest muscles, while his legs do not appear as muscular, they are well fit and toned. Floyd's physical condition that serves as a weakness is his right eye is implanted with an optic interface that allows his blind eye to see details that otherwise would be useless. Without the optic implant, Deadshot is completely blind in the right eye.
Training: U.S Marine Sniper Elite Training
Equipment: Navy Seal combat knife, grenades: concussion grenades, gas grenades, heat grenades, Wrist mounted machine guns, slide-forward cuff holsters. Weapon Holsters: Cuffs, thighs, lower back, hips, upper back, under arms, and chest.
Description
Appearance: Deadshot wears an assortment of outfits, commonly a silver helmet with a chest armored shirt and pants. Wrist mounted weaponry along with a glowing red optic implant in his right eye. Out of costume he typically wears a pair of jeans and a collared shirt. Sometimes he'll grow a handle-bar mustache to fit the "Desperado" persona he is known for.
Personality: Deadshot is a straight shooter in his personality. Only capable of lying to the really guillable, skilled detectives more often than not can detect when Lawton is fabricating the truth. He has no problem voicing his opinion, but also has no problem following orders either. Unlike most Gotham villains, Deadshot is a hired gun and does his work as it is the only means to sustain an income for a man of his talents and skills. Utilizing his sniper training in his civilian and professional life is the only way the man can make a living.
Floyd sees his work as a 'service' to his country, assassinating corrupt politicians, CEO's, or crime lord, Deadshot never takes a contract that would hurt an innocent (or what he feels is an innocent) person. He uses his job to play Judge, jury, and executioner although these feelings are burried deep inside himself to a point he doesn't psychologically realize this. These feelings are the reason why Deadshot questions his ability to truly kill Green Arrow or Batman.
Socially Floyd Lawton enjoys sports and military subjects, movies, games and is naturally a competitive person. Creating his own rivalries with other characters like Batman, Green Arrow, Deathstroke, Hellhound, Catman. These rivalries are more often than not one-sided but, never the less give Lawton a thrill of the hunt entertainment. It's important to know that Deadshot isn't opposed to the death penalty unlike most DC Comic heroes, trained by the army sniper division Deadshot knows that sometimes you have to neutralize a threat in order to sleep better at night.
In his love life, Deadshot can be rather submissive to his partners such as Silver Banshee or in some cases even Harley Quinn. He doesn't actively seek a relationship with anyone but, they seem to naturally occur whether its Floyd's honorable code or ability to be a badass when push comes to shove. Deadshot has a daughter and an ex-wife whom he loves both of them enough to know he can't be apart of their lives as they both don't want him apart of theirs.
Significant relationships
Zoe - Daughter of Floyd Lawton, when returning home from the war, Floyd suffered PTSD and lashed out around his wife and Zoe, this act made Floyd realize he was nothing more than a weapon to be used and no longer capable of living a normal life as a civilian. Floyd fights with the Suicide Squad because Amanda Waller agreed that his payments would go to his daughter for a college fund.
John Diggle - Rival and Brother in arms, John Diggle talked Floyd out of suicide during a mission on the Suicide Squad. It was an act Floyd didn't expect from John and since gained Floyd's respect that the man could put aside his hatred for Deadshot. Deadshot had killed John Diggle's brother because H.I.V.E hired him to do so, but for the longest time, John Diggle believed that Deadshot had missed the target until finally revealed John's brother was the target.
Harley Quinn - Girlfriend / Lover, Deadshot and Harley have a back and forth comedic and serious relationship where both characters seem to have a light heart to keep tension too high, but they both seem capable of putting their heads on straight to focus on the task at hand. Deadshot sees potential in Harley as he can see she is very smart, but not very tactical.
The Joker - Harley Quinn's Boyfriend, while Floyd has nothing personal against the man, The Joker seems to have an on and off vendetta against Floyd, to the point that Deadshot wouldn't think twice about killing the man if the opportunity presented itself. Knowing that if the shoe was on the other foot, Joker wouldn't hesitate either.
Batman - An incredible amount of respect for Batman and his ability to track down and foil Deadshot consistently. Deadshot respects Batman's crusade and holds a sort of envy over the man. Knowing he could never be like Batman or reach the level of good Batman is at, Deadshot struggles to kill someone so...Inspiring.
Green Arrow - Deadshot has respect for Green Arrow as the man is a crackshot, even with a bow and arrow, few people can be up to par with Deadshot's accuracy and yet Green Arrow is on that list. Not with a firearm, no, but with a bow and arrow, Green Arrow has been able to divert and stop Deadshot's bouncing bullets and successfully defeat Deadshot.
Deathstroke - Rival to Deadshot, as Deathstroke is known as the World's #1 Assassin with Deadshot being #2. Prior to Deathstroke, Deadshot was the #1 Greatest Assassin. The two would go back and forth between reputation and capabilities. Their rivalry isn't to a threatening level to each other, as sometimes they will sabotage each other's equipment if they are chasing the same target, but never has their sabotage completely level them deserted. Deadshot and Deathstroke spar against each other while working with the Suicide squad, as they are only members capable of keeping the other on their toes. Their training exercises often use live ammunition and non-lethal physical strikes.
Catman - Brother in Arms, Catman and Deadshot have a rivalry but share a symmetric-like relationship as one specializes in melee combat and the other in ranged. The two often butt heads in a comical fashion, but despite their disagreements they work extremely well together and are often paired with each other since together they stand a chance against big heroes like Batman, Black Canary, or Huntress.
Amanda Waller - Despite a distaste for Waller's priorities, Waller gave Floyd a second chance in life to do good and still help his loved ones. Jumping an the opportunity he did just that and willingly works with the Suicide Squad as a team leader.
Edward Lawton - Floyd and Edward were very close and cared very much about their family despite the manipulative nature of their mother and the abusive behavior of their father. Floyd and Edward stayed close together until Floyd shot Edward by accident.
Dawn Lawton - Floyd's mother devised a plan to kill her husband, seducing both of her sons, Floyd and Edward, into shooting him in self-defense of her. Floyd at the last minute decided not to go along with her plan and threatened to tell the police, but her control over Edward turned Floyd's brother against him and they locked Floyd in the tool shed as they began their plan.
Curtis Lawton - Abusive to Floyd's family, Deadshot's mother conspired to have him killed by leading him into an abusive tirade. As the fight began to break out between Curtis and Dawn, Edward took position within the backyard, Floyd would escape his captive state in the tool shed and climb a tree to snipe his brother's gun out of his hand. But as the clock was ticking Floyd panicked and fell from his position accidentally firing and shooting his brother in the head. When the police arrived Floyd told them everything and his mother was sent to jail. This caused a complex in Floyd as he killed the brother he loved to save the father he hated.

His scope lined up with the target, red lasers locked on when the sound of metal slashing through air whistled to his attention. A batarang slashed his gun forcing it out of hand and prompting Deadshot to tumble to his left while raising his wrist cannons towards the shadows. "I was wondering when you'd show up." "Come to have another shot at me? You missed the first time." Were the words from the Dark Knight, meant to insult and boy did they hurt Deadshot's pride. "Why don't you sit still and we'll see if a replay of events will happen." Floyd chided back with a grin, but as he saw the shadows move he fired two shots to corner Batman to the best of his estimation. Bullets began to fire consecutively with no success in actually hitting Batman, but Deadshot seemed satisfied that Batman was backing himself into a corner of the construction site. As Batman stopped at the end of the building Deadshot trained his weapon upon Batman. "Ashame, I would've thought you had a bigger plan...All things considered that I came fully prepared for you..."
Batman narrowed his eyes at Deadshot just as Cheetah jumped over the open floor space next to Deadshot. Catman dropped down from the ceiling, and Killer Frost stepped out of a doorway, each looking hungrily towards Batman. Batman offered a confident smirk. "I did have a bigger plan..." The scream of 5 arrows recoiling from a composite bow hit the ears of all four Suicide Squad members. Arrows stuck the ground in front of all 4 of them before exploding throwing Deadshot, Catman, and Killer Frost backwards. Cheetah dashed forward towards Batman when Arsenal dropped down from the ceiling and smashed his boot into Cheetah's head. Immediately shooting her back with an arrow. "Tranq arrow. That should slow you down and put you on *our* level for a little while." Cheetah kicked Arsenal off her back before ripping the arrow out of her arm. Batman leaped towards Cheetah and began punching her. Deadshot saw his opportunity and aimed directly for Batman's head, firing a single shot only for an arrow to shoot down and reflect the bullet to the side.
Green Arrow held his bow towards Deadshot's face. "Not so fast, deadeye. Move and I'll put you down." Green Arrow was confident and aggressive, but wasn't expecting a hulk like Catman to tackle him off the floor of the construction site and down onto a lower level. Killer Frost moved to Deadshot's side to create a frozen shield while Arsenal began bombarding arrows towards the two villains, it was then another set of arrows joined in; Huntress began firing dual crossbow pistols towards Floyd and Frost. "Do you think you can handle these two?" Deadshot readied his M416 for his strike towards Batman, as Frost unleashed a tidal wave of frozen picks that stabbed into Arsenal and Huntress' armor throwing both of them backwards Deadshot rolled to the right and began charging towards Batman and Cheetah, while Killer Frost took sight of Batman she summoned an ice pillar that would trap him, he would be forced to face off against Cheetah and Killer Frost, but the words came from Batman. "Use the siren!" A sonic scream would pierce the ears of Cheetah and Killer Frost, a blast so powerful it would hurl Cheetah through the air and into Frost, while also shattering the ice pillar created by Killer Frost.
It was now Batman and Deadshot, both charged towards each other, raising his machine gun towards Batman's gun, Deadshot's red optic lens would see Batman's right fist swinging towards his face...
