(Robin)
The Mall's security alarm rang out loudly as the smashing of glass and crackling of debris echoed from the jewelry store. The two thugs working for Poison Ivy were packing the sacks loaded with gold necklaces and diamonds. Their attention would be taken when they heard the slicing of air by a metal batarang immediately cutting the hand of the first thug as Robin charged towards the other with short legs the ran felt like an eternity, but promptly reaching the thug those short legs stepped onto the thug's thigh and whipped his boot to smash the second thug under the chin with a wind-up of his leg. The maneuver would allow Robin to back flip off the thief and land on his feet. He smirked confidently at the two grown men knocked back and injured. "I hope you guys were planning on bringing the jewelry to the misses at home. Diamonds necklaces would look ugly on you two...But who knows, I doubt either of you have looked in a mirror anytime recently...Might want to schedule it back a few more years after I'm done with you!"
It was at the end of his quip and talking that a mind controlled security guard would trap Robin into a bear hug from behind. "Hey!" Robin gritted his teeth and felt the guard lift Robin off the ground like a helpless child as the Boy Wonder kicked his legs to try and throw the man off center of balance. "I'm on your side! Let me go!"
(Batman)
It has been 6 months since Jason died, the pain of that memory lingered in Batman's mind. He had closed off most of the world not just because of the close nature of that wound, but the additional complications signifying Batman's failure on a multitude of levels. Barbara Gordon was shot and nearly killed by the Joker, it was by Jim Gordon's patience and virtue that Batman didn't kill the psychopath, something Batman was ashamed to admit and only confided this feeling to Alfred, though the words weren't necessary for his close confidant as Alfred saw the pain behind the mask that tormented Bruce the same way after his parents died, it was the exact same expression when Rachel died. Alfred was even impressed by Bruce's fortitude and perseverance through all the pain and heartbreak. To add on the pile of regret and depression, Dick Grayson and Batman haven't spoken in almost a full year.
Tim had brought Batman back from the edge, reminding Batman that he was a symbol of inspiration and he shouldn't allow himself to be devoured by the darkness. For the most part, Batman had taken Tim's guidance to heart and started his own rehabilitation with Tim's help. Still, Batman was plagued with a strike of introverted feelings that in order to stave off he would bury himself in crime fighting and solving with the Justice League.
In St. Lawrence New York, Batman stood in a laboratory owned by Star Labs. Batman analyzed the samples provided by a local victim to the virus, usually this job would be something in the CDC's department of concern but, Batman found the case to have malicious intent behind the release of the virus and determined a qualified detective was necessary to find out the source and cause of it. To Batman this wasn't a race for a cure, but an investigation into a murder and potentially genocide. His index and middle finger would tap the side of his cowl. "Batman to Superman and Wonder Woman. I could use your assistance in New York. Lock onto my tracking beacon if you have the time."
(The Flash)
'Tunsila Works' was the warehouse factory that had three floors dedicated to manufacturing chemical products, their main product was liquid cooling and anti-freeze. It was located in the outer Burroughs of Central City letting the heist occur with absolutely no police interference. The lightning bolts sparked as the Scarlet Speedster's raced through the streets and stopped at the point of entry to the building. Glass was shattered by the front door but, there was something else that stood out to The Flash; a block of aluminum right at the door. The case was almost national news as a thief kept stealing things while leaving behind almost no trace. The common theme was the leftover blocks of solid minerals, think of gold bars except made of every material that wasn't gold.
Barry's blue eyes scanned over the scene and spoke. "Dinah, I don't think we made it in time..." Barry said, The Flash had spent some time working with Black Canary while she was in town. Barry was excited to team up and work with her again. He saw her as a female Batman, but more social and friendly. Black Canary took the superhero gig much like The Flash did; they embraced it so they could inspire others with laughter and happiness even through tragedy. Barry continued to explain into his earpiece. "--This time it seems like something bigger and badder was taken." Barry would recall the items stolen thanks to his super memory.
Heist #1 -1x Cat Statue on display in a town shop
Heist #2 -5x Packs of AA batteries -10x Cellphones of varying models -4x Container of Shampoo -2x Bottled Pack of Miracle Grow
Heist #3 -1x 25 lbs bag of rock salt -1x 10 gallon bucket of tar
Barry looked around the room to analyze the scene, the room was full of large oil barrels filled with various chemicals that Barry didn't know anything about. The scent of the room was that of windex and mold, which indicated a clean environment but, the stench of the product too vulgar to simply 'fabreeze spray' it out of the air. "Maybe there's a computer or something we can use to look at the man..." He took a moment to think about an unbiased assumption of the suspect. "...Or woman." Feeling that he corrected his assumption he awaited Black Canary's arrival before proceeding forward. He took the time to survey the area for any sign of danger and with the all clear he returned to waiting for Dinah.
(Green Arrow)
The sound of sirens echoing across the city was to be expected and from the rooftop of some apartment Building, Green Arrow sighed waiting for something to happen, when his attention was grabbed by the radio nearby. "This just in...A bank robbery is in progress at the Los Angeles Citibank, an armed car smashed into the side of the building and men carrying guns proceeded to shoot guns." Ollie would then jump down into the apartment of Kyle Rayner. "Hey, we got a gig, some mooks are holding up the Citibank. If we hurry we might be able to kick some butt before the police quarantine the area."
Killer Moth would have thermite planted on the vault already burning through the thick door. His outfit had purple body vest and leggings with a yellow helmet, boots, gloves, and a his customized gun. Having three men with him, each had configured a death trap for the pending arrival of heroes. As two men injected two hostages with a virus, the third man forced six hostages to hold armed grenades When the Thermite cracked through Moth proceeded to steal a bag of cash that he would simply toss into his yellow and black mothmobile, it played on a similar theme to Batman's Batmobile, except it was striped.

Kyle sat hunched over his computer, leaning in close to the screen as he edged out another corner of the design. There were deadlines to be made and people to please, namely himself. Any other person would have long since sent in the logo to the company and been paid, but Kyle needed it to be as perfect as possible. Admittedly, part of it was that he needed the repeat business. Mostly, however, it was personal pride. He loved what he did in spite of the hardship that it did put on his living situation and he wanted his work to be the best that it could be. Kyle had thankfully just taken his hand away from the mouse when Ollie dropped into the apartment letting out a yelp and then a gasp of relief. "Hey don't just do that!" Glancing back to the design, his eyes scanned over the thing, checking for any mess ups all the same, "I've finally got the part that was bothering fixed up."
Green Arrow raised his forest green gloved hands defensively. "Oops." He said in response to Kyle nearly freaking out. Whenever Kyle was doing art, it was typically beautiful and it didn't make too much sense to Oliver why it wasn't 'good enough' when Oliver would've stopped at the stick figure. He was able to credit Kyle for amazing talent with the pen & ink, and in the digital age it was a mousee & program...Oliver would have to remember that jab for a later date as the amusing expression came across his features while he thought about it 'Hey, you know the program is supposed to compliment your style, not do the work for you.' Snapping back to reality, he waved his hands for Kyle to hurry up. "What am I doing wasting time around here? You can get dressed and be there in half a light-year. I'll see you at the crime scene..."
The Emerald Archer moved to the window and then hopped out of it, twirling in his jump he shot an arrow towards the roof allowing it to latch onto something and reel him towards the ground by a rope. He reached the ground and moved to the nearby alley where his motorcycle was stashed and revved the engine to move in pursuit. Underneath his green motorcycle helmet his sky blue eyes flashed and changed color into forest green as the magical influence of his body began to take hold; his vision sharpened in time for him to arrive at the scene. Leaping from his motorcycle he charged towards the front of the bank and opened the door to slip inside the bank he sized up his opponents and the situation with the eyes of an american eagle.
His voice modification tool wasn't activated allowing his more natural and somewhat whiny voice to echo. "Put down the weapons and you'll have one less hole the doctors will have to fix." The thugs heard his voice and quickly ducked behind the cashier desks where they were protected by bulletproof metal glass that Green Arrow couldn't possibly penetrate without an explosive. Killer Moth would step out of the vault carrying a satchel of money, fearlessly he would step out from behind safety holding his customized webspinner gun. "You know, I've seen a lot of things in my criminal career. Saw a men get away with murder, saw children get abused, and I even saw a man dressed as a weird Bat running around with a boy in tights. You, sir, take the cake. What are you supposed to be, Robin Hood? Come to join me in stealing money from the rich to give to the poor? I'm on contract, so sharing isn't a privilege."
Green Lantern lifted his head up and opened his mouth to respond to Ollie before the archer was out of the apartment. A sigh touched his lips as he stood up, the ring on his right middle finger glowing brightly as a halo of light formed over his head. It shot downwards, dragging down the length of his body and sliding both his large mask and lantern uniform over his clothes. The tight fitting suit hid away his jeans, shoes, and t-shirt. "Here we go. So much for a quiet night." Kyle darted up and phased through the ceiling, flying after Ollie. He arrived at the bank with him, tilting his head as he watched the other enter first. Chuckling, he dropped through the air with his feet going right through the concrete of the bank's roof. Green Lantern stayed quiet for a moment, making sure his ring's glow was out while he watched, hovering with his body horizontal to the floor, from above. He did not expect that things would go entirely the way that Ollie was going to imagine them to be (They-c
rarely did in fact) but he did know that speaker had... had...Wait. Wait. Is that... a moth?! Covering his mouth, Kyle had to stifle is laughter, eyes starting to water as he winced from the exertion. Oh god! I can't believe it! The dude's dressed as a moth! Please, god in heaven, tell me he has a weakness to bright blue lights! I've got the perfect construct to deal with him.
Green Arrow's chin remained firmed and unwavering as his bow was trained on Killer Moth now, with Green Lantern's entrance and sizing up of the situation, he was confident that things were going to be easily dealt with...Killer Moth would turn his attention to Green Lantern and take a step back. "Whoa, aren't you quite bright. What are you supposed to be a Power Ranger? You heroes and your gimmicks..." Moth shook his head as if disappointed. This reaction prompted Green Arrow to look over his shoulder at Green Lantern whom was now snickering with water in his eyes. "Could...you two TRY to take this more seriously?" The archers attention moved between Killer Moth and Green Lantern as if trying to get both of them to see reason, the cartoonish nature of the situation was seemingly lost to Oliver.
"Oh wow. Hey Arrow, the moth has got teeth. And me without my can of Raid," and, as if on cue, his ring glowed and the can of pest killer appeared, glowing brightly beside him. The construct, six feet tall and two feet around hung there for a moment and then disappeared as he began to lower down a few feet although still remaining high above the heads of all those on the ground. "But in all seriousness, I'm not sure whether or not I should laugh or be offended that my look is being hated on by the guy who took up a persona whose weakness is a bug zapper." This was making his night and he half expected to see some femme fatale heroine come dropping in from a white line calling herself Wolf Spider. His ring began to make said image appear, albeit green, before he got ahold of himself and the image faded before it could fully form. "You take the lead, Arrow," he stated, putting his head into the game as his lifted his right hand up and aimed it down at the Moth, "I've got your back."
Killer Moth wrinkled his eyebrows at Green Lantern's insult. "Are you high? Are you intellectually arrogant? I'm the GODDAMN KILLER MOTH!" He shook his hands like a child having a temper tantrum. "When innocent people cry out for a hero, who do they call? BATMAN! When injustice is in need of help, who do they call? Who do the criminals turn to for aid?" Green Arrow would take this conversation with thoughtfulness. "Usually they turn to semtex or lawyers, but boo hoo for your pity party. Drop the guns and put your hands up before your new name will be changed to Buzz Lightyear by my friend here."
The Killer Moth then pointed to the teller stations. "Wrong, while this conversation has been going on, I've managed some death traps for you that are about ready by now. So, I'll leave you to figure out how to save them because the puzzles might be more difficult than your little night light and kids toy to figure out! Try and stop me and they'll die for sure!" Killer Moth jumped up into the Mothmobile. He climbed into the vehicle and swiftly the thugs with him ran out from behind the tellers to join him their guns trained on Arrow and Lantern as the Mothmobile backed out of the crater in the wall. Green Arrow aimed his bow trained on them but, then lowered it and turned to look at the people. "Is everyone alright?" They would then see the hostages holding grenades in their hands and two men on the floor developing lesions across their skin. "Lantern!"
Green Arrow stated. "These two need a hospital immediately." Arrow then went to grab a grenade to take it off the person's hand and hold it down himself. "Great...7 grenades. Everyone just hold tight please, let me handle the grenades one at a time."

A different kind of speed than Central City was used to was roaring down the streets. Instead of a sonic boom or a flash of red and lightening, there was the growly purr of a well tuned engine. Gleaming purple and the curve of chrome was weaving through traffic, giving other drivers only a glimpse at her fishnets as she sped by. There was no trying to keep up with the Flash when they heard the call of the latest heist, so Black Canary didn't even try. But that didn't slow her down, she still sped through the streets like a madwoman. Besides that didn't stop the blonde from giving the Flash support over her earpiece as he arrived at the scene. She had been going over the case in her head all day. Three separate heists for such an odd array of items. Many not having any obvious link. But it was like a shopping list. Batteries, shampoo, miracle grow... So many other things of higher value passed by. This 'thief' was obviously on a mission.
Canary smirked as she heard Barry's comment that they were too late. "Found the brick that was once the door?" she asked, a smile in her voice. Barry did make a good point, the type of items had escalated, now raw chemicals from a liquid cooling factory. While the ingredients on thief's list so far, were unlike any bomb she had heard of, nothing good could come from such strong chemicals. A soft warm laugh was heard over her mic as Dinah heard Barry correct himself over the gender of the suspect "That's a good idea. But don't be so sure that this thief is gone already. So please do a once over on the building first to make sure they aren't still there. I'll be there in about five minutes.
Dinah was glad that they got to work together again. Barry was a smart guy and it was nice to have someone she could bounce ideas on an investigation with, he also had great connections in this town. He also knew where the best taco joints were. But she couldn't help but worry about him a little. Sure Barry's ability bested almost anyone. But he wasn't a trained fighter. The best defense against him, was not to run away, but to ambush him when he least expected it. He could react at lightening speeds, but a well timed 'trap' could best even those sped up senses and mind.
The gleaming purple bike pulled into the little industrial borough as she made her way to the warehouse factory.

Barry awaited for Black Canary to arrive and reported. "Place was searched over a few times, no one around." He shook his head. "From what I could find, there's a camera room...that way." He pointed his index finger down a hallway to the right of the front entrance. He pointed to the left and explained "Down that way is the lab they use to make and produce the chemicals. It's also where they pack them into containers for shipping. The loading dock is on the other side of the building, there are four trucks but, the lot could've had seven or eight trucks in the lot. I also found a forklift truck that was left on, leading me to believe that there was a truck, so getting a license plate could be helpful."
Upon entering and analyzing the melted blocks of aluminum there would be a new piece of debris on the ground that Barry and Dinah would find; it was a lump of coal about the size of a shoe. Barry picked it up and looked at it curiously as he raised it to his eyes. "This is...coal? This is different. Why would they leave coal behind--this doesn't really make sense." Of the blocks of coal, there would be three lumps in the main room, two more lumps were in the laboratory.
